This Privacy Policy explains how TMI Educational Technology (“we”, “us”, “TMI”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the TMI UPSC Prelims preparation platform at https://www.tmi.college (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile image to create and secure your account.
- Learning activity. Your quiz attempts, practice, test results, progress, streaks and preferences, so we can personalise your preparation and show your progress.
- Device & usage data. A device identifier and basic technical logs (e.g. browser type, pages visited) used to operate and improve the Service.
- Payment data. Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your full card or bank details. We retain transaction and subscription references, payment and cancellation status, and paid-access periods needed for billing, entitlement and support.
How we use your information
- To provide, personalise and improve your learning experience.
- To operate accounts, entitlements (Free/Pro), payments, recurring renewals and cancellations.
- To communicate service updates and respond to support requests.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse and comply with legal obligations.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service (for example, Google for sign-in, Razorpay for payments, and our hosting and analytics providers), and where required by law.
Data retention & security
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at anuragbasant@gmail.com. You can also sign out and stop using the Service at any time.
Children
The Service is intended for users preparing for competitive examinations and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
